Office hours
All Government offices are open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.(with a one-hour lunch break) from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are holiday.
In local regions, offices are open from 7:00 am to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Banks are open from 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. to 3:30p.m. Banks are closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
Private shops are open from 8:00 or 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 or 10:00 p.m.

Vietnam Traditional Lunar New Year Festival - Tet Nguyen Dan: (Four day holiday). Tet holiday usually falls at the end of January or middle of February by solar calendar. The holiday begins on the eve of the last lunar month and lasts through the first three days of the Lunar New Year (Tet Nguyen Dan)
